Dr David Walker

I am a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science with research interests on the interface between multi-objective optimisation, evolutionary computation, interactive optimisation, explainable AI, and hyper-heuristics. I am interested in projects that put human decision making and control at the heart of the optimisation process that underpin industry and society.

I am the Computer Science department's Director of Education and Student Experience, and am a HEA Senior Fellow.
