Zhihong Liu

I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Exeter. My research lies at the intersection of computer vision, natural language processing, and healthcare.

My current work explores efficient deployment of medical VLMs through model compression techniques such as quantization and token reduction, while also investigating reliable perception and advanced reasoning capabilities. My long-term goal is to develop practical and trustworthy multimodal AI systems for real-world healthcare applications.
