I am a Senior Lecturer (E&S) in Computer Science and the Programme Director for the Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship programmes at Levels 6 and 7. I bring extensive knowledge and expertise in managing and delivering Degree Apprenticeship programmes within the university sector, working closely with employers to ensure strong industry relevance and high-quality learner outcomes.

 

I received my PhD in Artificial Intelligence and an MSc in Management Information Systems from the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland, and I also hold an MSc in Software Engineering from Ukraine. I have extensive experience teaching a wide range of Computer Science subjects at university, for example, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Design, Software Engineering, IT Consulting and Business Analysis. I also have significant experience in designing and delivering distance-education programmes.

 

Alongside my academic work, I have worked as an IT consultant in leading roles on regional research and development projects for business clients. My consulting activities have focused on Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation of Enterprises, IT strategy and IT governance. This blend of academic and industry experience informs my teaching and enables me to support learners in developing skills aligned with real-world professional practice.
