Computer Science

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science at University of Exeter, and am affiliated with the Centre for Environmental Intelligence. My research lies in the development of machine learning and computer vision methods to tackle sustainability and environmental challenges.

More specifically, my interests lie in using machine learning models for environmental monitoring, especially with cameras and remote sensing data. Examples include the development of a deep learning model to monitor trash screen blockage using cameras, as well as the development of geospatial foundation models to monitor carbon production using Sentinel-3 data.

Through my EI Research Fellow role at the Centre of Environmental Intelligence, I collaborate with partners accross the public and private sectors, helping them apply state-of-the-art machine learning and computer vision techniques to address their specific environmental challenges.
