Overview

 

Mr. Abdulaziz Almutairi currently a PhD student in Computer Science at University of Exeter working with Prof Jonathan Fieldsend and Prof Christopher Smith. His research focuses on investigate and develop evolutionary and nature inspired algorithms to solve multi-modal problems, hybridised with local search techniques for fast mode optimisation. The application domain will focus on lightweight engineering design problems (reducing mass with honeycomb structures, but preserving stiffness, etc.).

He grew up in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh and in 2005 he received his bachelor degree in Computer Science from Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Jordan. The master degree was awarded in the area of Computer Science from Colorado State University USA in 2011.

Mr. Almutairi is a faculty member at Shaqra University, Saudi Arabia in the Department of Computer Science, Since 2012. He has been working as E-Learning Consultant at Al-Moammar Information Systems Co 2013 and also has been working as programmer & system analysis at  Alsalam Aircraft Company Saudi Arabia- AL-Riyadh PSAB in 2006.
